What sets Jackie apart is her unique background as both a nurse and an attorney - a combination that saves lives both physically and career-wise. When we were diligently studying for our first year finals together, Jackie noticed my breathing pattern seemed suspicious. I told her it was just asthma, but nevertheless, she dragged me to the ER. The doctor gave me an asthma treatment and discharged me. As we were exiting the ER, Jackie realized I still wasn’t okay, dragged me back into the ER, and demanded that they reassess me. It turned out she was right - I had massive blood clots in both of my lungs. Doctors later told us I only had another hour to live, had she not pushed for that test. Jackie saved my life. Her instincts are sharp and she fights for what she believes in. This is just one example of what makes Jackie an exceptional attorney today: attention to detail, willingness to advocate, and genuine care for others. Now, representing nurses, she brings that same work ethic, trustworthiness, and advocacy that I witnessed during our study sessions years ago. I have worked with Jackie and I have witnessed her advocate for nurses. She is incredible at what she does. She is always researching and staying up on trends within nursing, she is honest and she will assess the entire situation. Nurses need more Jackies.
